  • What is the history of Chlorella?

Chlorella’s history began some three billion years ago (yes 3,000,000,000) during Earth’s formation when this tiny plant began evolving into the nowadays super plant. It was only discovered in the late 19th century by Dutch microbiologist Dr. Beijerinck who also gave it the name Chlorella.

  • 3 Apples,
  • ½ Lemon,
  • 100g Spinach,
  • 3 Kale leaves,
  • 5g Ginger

Popsicle molds or paper cups and wooden sticks

Ingredients:

  • One Tbsp ALLKME Green Elixir Chlorella Powder,
  • 1 vanilla bean,
  • 1/2  cup agave nectar,
  • 2 cans full-fat coconut milk (13 ounces),
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

Slice the vanilla bean lengthwise, and scrape the seeds; add agave nectar. Place the bowl over a large pot with water; bring water to a higher temperature that will heat and mix agave nectar and vanilla for 20 minutes.

Allow the mix to cool completely. Gradually mix cooled agave nectar, the coconut milk, and then add the vanilla extract together in a larger bowl. Mix the Chlorella Powder and pour everything into Popsicle molds and seal.

Now let the mixture cool in the freezer, mixing carefully every hour to break-up the newly formed ice crystals, until firm, in 5 to 6 hours.

  • One Tbsp Chlorella Powder,
  • 1/2 small onion, minced,
  • 1-2 cloves garlic,
  • 2 tsp salt,
  • 2 ripe avocados,
  • 1 lime, juiced,
  • Ripe plum tomato, cored and diced.

On a cutting board, cut the onion into small pieces, smash the garlic and place them in a bowl. Chop the tomatoes and add them over. Cut the avocados in half, scoop the avocado flesh, and smash it into a paste and mix all the ingredients together with the chlorella powder. Season with lemon, olive oil, salt, to taste.

  • 2 cups fresh basil,
  • 1 tbsp. Chlorella Powder,
  • 1 head of garlic,
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil,
  • 1/4 cup of pine nuts,
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice,
  • 500g of pasta.

1. Put the chlorella, garlic and olive oil in a bowl, and mash them well with a fork or, for a perfect cream, mix them in a blender.
2. Slightly roast the pine nuts in a pan using 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.
3. Sprinkle lemon juice, add basil and the roasted pine nuts to the mix. Serve it with either pasta or cheese.
